"I like State Farm Insurance. I have been with them for many years. So when I moved to Huntsville, I went online to find out who had the best ratings, and it was Bradley Hamner's office. But from the first interaction, my experience has been frustrating. The office ladies are kind, which helps, but my renter's insurance was messed up (they had me insured at the incorrect address) and I was not getting replies to my emails or messages through the online portal. So I had to take time out of my day to go to the office. It took quite a while to get it straightened out. But while that was annoying, it was just one time. So I was content to move on. Later I sold one of our cars. I got online and filled out the appropriate request, but a few days later I realized my policy had not been updated. So I sent an email directly to the office. Two days went by and I did not hear back. Then I checked and the other auto policy was not set up as I had requested a few months earlier when I got the policy. The combination of errors and lack of communication or followup was too much for me. So I found an alternative, sent a cancellation notice via email to the address on the website, and waited for confirmation. It never came. After 4 days I called the office and found out that the policies were still active. It is nice to work with friendly people, but I expect competence and timely communication as well. I would recommend finding a different agent."

"I moved here 11 years ago, and I had no idea where to start for my truck insurance. (I was just a baby) I chose this state farm because of there willingness to always go above and beyond to help me with any of my insurance needs and never thought I was stupid for any of my random questions. Taylor and Jade are a staple to this place and Mr.Hamner cares about every one of his clients. If you don't choose this location, your selling yourself short. I hope you get yourself the state farm you deserve which is this one!!!"

"First off, the rates keep increasing and increasing an insane amount without an increase in coverage. I know that's difficult for them to mitigate, but it's still incredibly frustrating given the lower rates from many other insurance companies.
Secondly, I cannot get them to return my emails. In the three years I've had insurance through this State Farm office, they've only responded to one of my emails. I've sent them two emails recently and haven't gotten a response in nearly two months.
Since they won't communicate via email, I called their office recently to get some clarity on a few items. I was as polite and professional as possible, and the agent I spoke with (their name was Jade) acted passive aggressive. They sounded annoyed that I had dared call them at all.
Due to the lack of communication, poor customer service, and poor coverage for the cost, I pulled all of my insurance policies from State Farm and went over to Progressive. It's so lovely to now have an agent who doesn't act annoyed when I call and who responds to emails."

"First State Farm raised my rates on my home because of inflation without raising my coverage, then they raised my rates on my cars by 25% because Alabama has bad drivers. This while never filing a claim with them and and not getting a ticket in decades. I received much better coverage for the same amount of money from USAA.
Thank you for your timely and somewhat cavalier response. As a retired business unit executive who has had some of the largest corporate clients in the world and whose area of expertise is customer relationship manage, allow me to reinterpret it: "Thank you for sending us all of that money and never filing a claim, we have plenty of other customers so we really don't need you. Thanks again". It was exactly what I was expecting. The raised rates weren't the main reason I cancelled my policies, it was the incredibly poor relationship management. Any company worth it's salt doesn't raise its rates without first notifying its customers and providing an explanation. It's akin to going to the podiatrist with an ingrown toenail and the doctor walks in and says "OK, now lets take off that toe". Your response was the perfect validation for my decision."

"Office staff is rude and refuses to do their job. No one will ever help they would rather sit and talk. We have sent them paperwork 3,4 and 5 times and they always loose it. After being rude to me today, I have switched agents. I do not recommend this Office to anyone. A formal complaint through corporate has been filed as well."
